Cash is ready for walks, naps, and a family to love.
Cash is a 2-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound mix, weighing about 65 lbs, with a big heart, a goofy personality, and the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch nap partner. He's a confident, social, and loving boy who truly enjoys being around people and is always ready for his next walk, game of fetch, or snack break. Cash is the kind of dog who makes fast friends – he loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a happy, eager attitude. He's energetic and playful but also knows how to relax and settle in for some well-earned downtime after his exercise. Think: active best friend by day, nap enthusiast by afternoon.
Ideal Home
Cash does well with children and enjoys being part of the action. While he enjoys other dogs, he doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home to be happy. He could live with a dog with proper introductions, but he'd also thrive as someone's one-and-only adventure companion. Because he's a smart, active hound with a high prey drive, Cash will need a home committed to structured exercise and continued training. He'd do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs and explore. No cats for this handsome guy. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
Ongoing Health
Cash is mostly potty trained and crate trained (though he may whine a little at first).
Training & Support
Cash is learning his leash manners – he can pull occasionally but is very manageable with consistency and gentle guidance. He responds well to positive reinforcement and enjoys learning when treats are involved. Cash will need a home committed to structured exercise and continued training. He would love a home with an adopter who enjoys being active and wants a loyal, fun companion to share life with – someone who will give him guidance, consistency, and lots of love.
