Toaster

Toaster is a 2.5-year-old male dog with a unique wobbly gait due to a past spinal injury. Despite this, he has a boundless zest for life and his balance has improved significantly during his time in our care. He can even navigate short staircases with determination! Toaster is an enthusiastic pup who is learning to temper his playfulness with people, though he genuinely enjoys carrying forearms in his mouth. He's heartworm negative and has no other known medical concerns. While his movements can startle other dogs, he seems to desire canine companionship. Due to his unique gait, he would do best in a home with older children.

Training & Support

He is learning to control his enthusiastic play. We have high hopes he will be easy to house-train as he keeps his kennel tidy. He is surprisingly mellow on a leash.
