Trooper

Trooper is a handsome 2 1/2-year-old, 60-pound pup who will bring quiet companionship and joy to your life. He's the type of dog who will happily follow you from room to room, snooze nearby, and simply make your day brighter by his presence. Trooper is incredibly smart, fully house-trained, and knows commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." He walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is happiest when he's with his favorite person. Trooper has a gentle and tender heart, responding well to kindness, encouragement, and consistency. He's not a loud or demanding dog; he just wants to feel safe and be with his family.

Ideal Home

Trooper thrives as a true companion and would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for long hours. He has done well with other dogs and ignores barking dogs on walks.

Trooper is neutered, vaccinated, and house-trained.

Training & Support

Trooper experiences some separation anxiety and will benefit from a patient and understanding owner. He listens exceptionally well and his protective instincts can be easily redirected.

Transporation

Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He can be transported closer to you as rescue transport comes through your area once a month. Transport details are as follows:

• Adoption fee: $395

• Transport fee: $260
• Transport is provided by AJC Rescue & Transport, with dogs moved via scheduled air-conditioned/heated vans. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's progress during transport, with updates on their location and estimated arrival time. Drivers provide breaks for food, walks, and bathroom needs, and dogs are crated for safety during transport.
