Ziggy

Ziggy is a charming 16 lb, 2-year-old Dachshund with a big personality packed into a small body! He was rescued from a local high-kill shelter and is now eagerly awaiting his forever family. Ziggy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has successfully completed heartworm treatment and is doing wonderfully. Continued heartworm prevention and regular check-ups will be key to keeping him healthy and happy.

Ziggy is a ray of sunshine, always ready with a wagging tail and a happy-go-lucky attitude. He absolutely adores other dogs, no matter their size, and would thrive in a home with canine companions. He’s also great with people and, while he hasn’t met children or cats yet, his calm and easygoing demeanor suggests he would adapt well with gentle introductions.

This intelligent boy is already house trained and kennel trained, which will make his transition into your home smoother. Ziggy has a playful streak and has a fondness for shoes, so keeping them tucked away will be a must! Providing him with plenty of toys will also help keep him happily entertained and out of mischief.

Transporation

Ziggy is currently being fostered in La Feria, TX. He can be transported to an approved adopter out of state, and his adoption fee of $550 includes transport costs.
