Rainer

Meet Rainer!

Rainer is a sweet, 3-year-old Blue Heeler who has overcome a great deal. He came to us as a stray after being hit by a car, which sadly resulted in the amputation of one of his legs. Despite this traumatic experience, Rainer has been neutered, completed heartworm treatment, and has recovered beautifully from his surgery. He's a resilient boy who truly deserves a second chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

Rainer is looking for a foster or adoptive home where he can truly thrive. He is dog-social and does well with other dogs who understand and respect his boundaries. He's a Heeler, bred for activity and connection, and he struggles in the shelter environment. He needs a home with a couch, a family, a routine, and a person to call his own.

Ongoing Health

Rainer has been neutered and has successfully completed heartworm treatment. He has also recovered from his leg amputation.

Training & Support
