Anthony

Anthony is a sweet soul who came to us after being outside for a few days, too scared to even leave his doghouse. He stayed tucked away, unsure of everything around him. It wasn’t until one of our male volunteers gently gained his trust that Anthony allowed himself to be picked up and carried inside. Right now, he's shut down, tail tucked tightly, quietly watching the world go by. But we see that tiny tail wag, a small sign that he wants to trust and believes he's safe. We know there's more to Anthony, and with patience and understanding, he'll come around.

Ideal Home

Anthony needs a patient adopter who understands that trust is built in quiet moments, not rushed ones. He needs someone willing to go slow and help him feel safe again.

Anthony is currently shut down and fearful, but with a patient and understanding approach, he will learn to trust again.
