Sweet Bucee is a 2-year-old, 57 lb. Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a heart full of love to share! He's a chill, confident, smart, and happy boy who is just waiting for his forever family. Bucee loves to greet new people and other dogs with enthusiastic, joyful barks. While he may need a little time to settle into a new home, as most rescue dogs do, he's eager to bond with his people. He gets along wonderfully with female dogs and most male dogs. Bucee has a lot of energy, ranging from medium to high, but he's a quick learner and enjoys calm indoor time. A backyard is a must for Bucee, where he can romp and play with his favorite chewy toys. He'd thrive with an active family who can help him expend his energy and prevent boredom. His foster mom reports that he sleeps soundly in his crate at night. Bucee absolutely loves having access to chew toys and other engaging activities to keep his mind stimulated.
Bucee Boosh was found abandoned in Houston, and his foster family believes he was sadly discarded in a common dumping area before his rescue.
Ideal Home
Bucee needs an active home with an owner who can provide him with plenty of opportunities to run and play, ideally with a backyard and chew toys.

Bucee is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Training & Support
Bucee is kennel and potty trained. He loves having access to chew toys and mentally stimulating toys at all times. Adopters are eligible for discounted training sessions with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Transporation
Bucee is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may include pick-up locations in nearby towns, counties, or states. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
