King of the Toy Box

King is an easy-going, aspiring toy collector with a perfectly friendly demeanor. He doesn't need to be the center of attention, but he'll quietly win you over with his gentle smile and playful spirit. He enjoys a good game of tug-o-war and is content to entertain himself with his beloved toys while you go about your day, making him a wonderful companion for someone seeking a dog who knows how to coexist peacefully.

Ideal Home

King would do best in a home with a yard where he can explore and enjoy his independence. He is not a good fit for apartment living due to his strength on leash when he sees something he wants.

Ongoing Health

King is currently on a weight gain journey and is expected to reach a healthy weight of 55-60 lbs.

Training & Support

King has a good understanding of basic leash manners but will need continued guidance and consistency to manage his strength when he sees something that interests him, like other dogs. He benefits from practice and structure.

Transporation

King is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
