Meet our sweet angel Levi!

Levi is a roughly 2-year-old neutered male who was rescued from the desert. Despite his rough start and emaciated condition, he greeted his rescuers with love and soulful eyes, even curling up in a lap for the drive home. He's a gentle and mostly quiet boy with a beautiful, shiny coat and loving eyes. He's not a barker and takes treats very gently, showing a soft temperament. Levi is crate-trained and doggy-door trained, and he's playful with other pups and cats. He tends to ignore cats and walks by other pups initially but will warm up to play chase or zoomies after a few days, though he'll lay down next to them right away. He's also good with outdoor tortoises and gentle with all creatures. Levi has been through a lot and needs a chance with a loving owner to help him rewrite his story, regain his confidence, and learn he's a good boy. He's well-mannered and just needs someone patient for the first couple of months as he learns to trust.

Ideal Home

Levi is shy and fearful for the first 3 to 7 days in a new environment. He would benefit from a home where he can slowly build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Levi is neutered and up to date on his shots. He has a missing part of his tail.

Training & Support

Levi is crate-trained and doggy-door trained. He may be fearful of tinkling for the first few days in his crate until he knows you. A belly band is recommended for the first week or so. He needs patience for the first two months as he learns to trust.
