Lux is an 8-year-old Bully breed mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for a calm, loving home to spend her golden years. It appears she may have had a history as a breeding dog prior to coming into our care, and now she is ready for a very different future--one filled with comfort, care, and kindness. Lux is a gentle, sweet, and affectionate girl who has quickly become a staff favorite. She enjoys attention from people and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes her a wonderful companion. She is not dominant with other dogs and does well in their company, preferring a peaceful environment. This lovely girl is truly a couch potato at heart and would thrive in a home where she can relax, feel safe, and simply enjoy being close to her person.

Lux is currently heartworm positive. Her treatment will be covered by the shelter, and she just needs a family willing to give her patience, love, and a soft place to land.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, spay or neuter, microchip, and an adoption packet.
- Dogs over 6 months old: $100
- Puppies under 6 months: $200
- If you rent, you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
- Adoptions are first come, first served. Filling out an application does not guarantee an animal will be held; you must meet the animal in person to be considered.
