Roo is a smart and spirited cattle dog mix who is ready to find her perfect match. She embodies all the incredible traits of her breed – loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure! Roo is approximately 4 months old and weighs around 19lbs as of July 10th. She's a bundle of energy and intelligence, and with the right guidance, she'll be an incredibly loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Roo thrives in an active environment with owners who understand the physical and mental exercise needs of an intelligent, high-drive breed like a cattle dog. Due to her intelligence and drive, cattle dog experience is required, and she is not a good fit for first-time dog owners or apartment living. A fenced yard is a must. She would absolutely flourish with another playful, energetic dog who can match her enthusiasm and provide a canine companion for engagement and play.
Ongoing Health
Roo is reported to be mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she may not be thrilled about entering her crate initially, she settles quickly and behaves well once inside. She is not a destructive dog, especially when her need for mental and physical stimulation is met.
Training & Support
Roo is eager to please and benefits greatly from consistent training and enrichment to keep her mind and body busy. Her new family should be committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential.
