Meet Brody! This handsome 5-year-old, 65-pound Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. He's a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and relaxing on the couch. Brody even likes to dress up for fun occasions, especially if it means being with his people!
Ideal Home
Brody would love a home with a secure backyard where he can run and play. He tends to do best with friendly, laid-back female dogs who enjoy a relaxed playstyle. He can be a bit much for smaller or timid dogs, so he'd also be happy to be your one and only pup. Brody gets along well with children but would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids (ages 8-10+) who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a neutered male and is up-to-date on his vaccinations.
Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, doing wonderfully when left unsupervised in his crate. He walks calmly on a loose leash and enjoys strolls. He is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, making him a joy to train. While he has made great progress with obedience, he can still get a little excited around assertive male dogs. With calm guidance and positive reinforcement, he continues to adapt and show his wonderful nature. He would benefit from a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement. Experience with breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls is a plus, as he thrives with a purpose, whether it's hiking, learning new tricks, or simply being a loyal shadow. Daily walks, light adventures, and activities like scent work, agility, or obedience classes will keep his mind sharp and his bond with you strong.
