Della

Della is an approximately 1-year-old, female Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us when her previous owner could no longer keep her in his apartment. He mentioned Della was house-trained and knew "sit." When he was away, she would stay in a separate room. Della is an active and intelligent girl looking for a family who can provide her with plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Ideal Home

Della is looking for a home where she can roam freely and doesn't need to be crated when her family is away. She would do best in a home without young children due to her resource guarding tendencies and strong-willed personality.

Ongoing Health

Della is spayed and current on her vaccines.

Training & Support

Della is house-trained and knows the "sit" command. Due to her resource guarding, her new family will need to prioritize training in this area. Her current "temper tantrums" when returning to her kennel often diminish once a dog settles into a stable home environment.
