He spent his entire life as a "yard dog" before being surrendered, so the world can feel a little overwhelming at first. He's understandably timid when meeting new people, but if you're patient and give him the time he needs to feel safe, you'll discover an incredibly loving companion. Once Felix lets his guard down, he gives you his whole heart. His favorite place is right by your side--or even better, curled up in your lap. This gentle boy lives for affection and simply wants to be held, loved, and reminded that he's finally home. Watching his big, goofy smile appear once he trusts you is one of the greatest rewards. Felix gets along well with children and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of families.
