Micaela

Micaela is a resilient and brave husky, estimated to be around 2 years old. She has overcome immense hardship, arriving at the shelter with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums, which had gone untreated and led to infection and damaged teeth. Despite her painful past, Micaela is a gentle soul who leans into soft touches and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes. She is also heartworm positive but is undergoing slow-kill treatment for a full recovery. She is now ready to find a loving forever home where she will be cherished and safe.

Micaela is recovering from extensive dental work due to old jaw fractures and infection. She is also currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworm and is expected to make a full recovery.
