Rocky

Rocky comes to us because his family realized a puppy wasn't the right fit for their situation - and that's ok! We appreciate the opportunity to make sure he finds the right home that knows what a young land shark like him needs to turn into a handsome well-behaved adult.

At just 14 weeks old, Rocky is fun as can be and ready to learn the ropes. He has great food drive, and the toy drive is coming along nicely. He has good handler focus, and recently showed off his social skills at a public event where he met several new people in the span of about an hour. Rocky is appropriately aloof for the breed; he doesn't seem to be the type that wants to crawl in everyone's lap and snuggle. But he's not nervous about other people or reactive to the chatter and bustle of a small crowd.

Ideal Home

Rocky is currently in a foster home with kids, dogs, and cats and is doing fine with all. We would prefer a home with prior German Shepherd Dog experience.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is a healthy young puppy.

Training & Support

Like all young shepherds, Rocky needs a home that is going to commit the time and work into training, socialization, and setting him up for success. He's going to make someone a great companion - might that be you?
