Scout

Scout, a charming 9-month-old male pit bull and Labrador Retriever mix, is looking for a patient and loving forever home. He was rescued from Devore Animal Shelter with a history of neglect and a dog attack, which has left him a bit timid. Scout is learning to be a pup day by day, and with the help of his fosters, he's slowly opening up. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready to embrace a new life.

Ideal Home

Scout would thrive in a patient home, ideally with another dog to help boost his confidence. He's not yet comfortable walking on a leash but is eager to learn. He needs a compassionate person who understands that healing from trauma takes time and commitment.

Ongoing Health

Scout has fully recovered from his past injuries and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Scout is still learning leash manners and will require consistent, gentle guidance. He needs more than the standard "333 rule" for adjustment and will benefit from a dedicated owner who can provide ongoing love and support.
