Meet Mochi – Looking for His Forever Home!

Mochi is a standard Poodle, believed to be around 3 years old, with a stunning white and apricot coat and beautiful liver-colored features. He's a handsome boy with a sweet personality and is ready to find a family to call his own. He loves people of all kinds, both men and women, and tends to be the more submissive one when interacting with other dogs. Mochi has a moderate energy level; he's not hyper, but he does enjoy play and activity. He's also very food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and train. Mochi is doing great with his house manners and consistently does his business outside.

Ideal Home

Mochi would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not and where he can continue building confidence and good habits. Due to his barking when left alone, an apartment or townhouse is probably not the best fit. A home with a yard and a family committed to ongoing training would be ideal. Because he's still a young, enthusiastic dog, he may be a little too much for very small children.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, Mochi is still learning some household rules. He enjoys counter surfing if food is left within reach and will chew inappropriate items if bored, so plenty of chew toys, bones, and enrichment activities are important. He experiences separation anxiety and will bark when left alone. Crate training is currently a work in progress.
