Ahava

Meet Ahava, a spirited almost five-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix who weighs 23.5 pounds. Ahava embodies pure joy, and her zoomies are a sight to behold as she celebrates every moment with exuberant circles. Her tail wags are infectious, and she truly looks like happiness in motion! She thrives on enthusiastic greetings and loves to wrestle on the floor before snuggling up on the couch for some quality TV time. Sometimes, she'll even bring a squeaky toy to share during your downtime.

Ideal Home

Ahava would be happiest in a home with a spacious, fenced-in yard where she can safely indulge her love for running free. She would especially adore a family with children to play with, as she gets along wonderfully with kids.

Ongoing Health

Ahava has received all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been de-wormed, and is current on flea and tick prevention. She has also been tested for heartworm and is on prevention. As with all our animals, she received a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Ahava is fully housetrained and knows "sit" and "down." She has not yet been crate trained. She can be a bit of a leash puller, as her desire to run is strong, but with consistent positive reinforcement and opportunities to really stretch her legs, she will surely continue to improve. She can be a little nervous during car rides.

Transporation

Ahava is currently in Tennessee. We do list and adopt pets nationwide. Transport fees will apply for out-of-state adoptions. Typical transport costs to the Northeast are approximately $180. Please note that due to interstate adoption regulations, we are unable to adopt to residents of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
