Avis

Avis is a wonderful lady who absolutely adores people! She's a big fan of car rides, tasty treats, and long, snore-filled naps. While she's incredibly generous with her affection for humans, she's not so keen on sharing her space with other dogs and would much prefer to be the one and only canine in her home. Avis was previously in a home for six months, but unfortunately, she managed to get loose and got into an altercation with another dog. This experience highlights her need for a securely fenced yard and a strong, well-fitting harness with a handler who can manage her strength. Don't let the little bit of grey on her muzzle fool you; Avis is a strong and loving companion. She's even served as an unofficial mascot for humane education programs, charming kids with her gentle nature and ambassadorial skills. Avis is loyal, gives the sweetest kisses, and thrives on attention, ear rubs, and belly rubs. We know her perfect forever human is out there, waiting to welcome this amazing girl into their life.

Ideal Home

Avis would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard. She prefers to be the only dog in the household.
