Josie

Josie is a 5-month-old, 19 lb female Retriever mix with striking heterochromia – one brown eye and one ice blue eye! She's a sweet and lively pup who was rescued with her siblings and is now enjoying life as a playful puppy. Josie is crate-trained but definitely prefers snuggling on the couch or bed. She loves toys, sunbathing, and is working on her leash manners. Exploring new things can be a bit intimidating for her, so patience will be key as she grows. She's making great progress with potty training using potty pads and would likely do well with gentle children and other doggy friends. Her foster mom describes her as sometimes timid but also very sweet and cuddly.

Ideal Home

A home that will be patient with her as she explores and continues her training. She would do well with gentle children or other doggy playmates.

Ongoing Health

All core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip are included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Josie is crate-trained but prefers sleeping on the couch or bed. She is working on potty training and is doing well with potty pads. She can be a little timid at times and is learning leash manners.
