Petie is a young, playful, affectionate, and mischievous dog who loves toys, walks, and playing with other dogs. She was born in a neighborhood where she has been fed and cared for years. After being spayed, the plan was to release her again because her foster already had many dogs. But Petie had other ideas! After slipping out one day, she returned that same night, scratching at the door, asking to come back inside. She chose her home with determination and charm! Petie is the comedian of the house, always initiating play and investigating anything she can reach. She is ready for a family who appreciates her curiosity, sweetness, and joyful energy. If you are looking for an intelligent and active dog, then she is your girl!

Petie's ideal home includes other dogs, active people, and a yard. She would not be okay living with dominant females or cats.
