Gunner from TEXAS

Gunner is a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound black and tan hound mix who came to us from a small-town dog pound in rural Texas. He's a good boy who enjoys a comfortable indoor life, especially when it's hot outside. Gunner loves human attention, toys, and playing with other dogs. He's crate-trained, comes when called, walks nicely on a leash, and tolerates baths well.

Ideal Home

Gunner enjoys the comforts of indoor living and loves to snooze on the couch in the air conditioning. He's happy to go outside for potty breaks and playtime with friends but prefers to cool off inside afterward.

Ongoing Health

Gunner is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm-negative. He receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

As a hound, Gunner can get excited by squirrels and will bark at people and animals he sees outside. He's also been known to counter-surf and raid the garbage if cabinets aren't secured. Gunner is a typical goofy and happy hound who loves to play.
