Trucker is a handsome Rottweiler x Lab mix who estimates his birthday to be November 17, 2024, making him about 60 lbs of pure love! He's described as a perfect gentleman by his foster dad, Trucker loves to zoom around and play just as much as he enjoys a good snuggle.
Trucker's past wasn't so great; he spent the beginning of his life chained up in a yard in Houston. Thankfully, kind street feeders made sure he had a meal each day. When his owner became ill, he was told Trucker would have to go to the pound, a scary thought for a dog who only knew his 15-foot chain and a rundown doghouse. We were able to rescue him from this difficult situation, and now Trucker is happy, healthy, and eagerly awaiting his forever family!
Ideal Home
Trucker would love a home where he can have plenty of opportunities to run and play, but also lots of chances to cuddle up with his favorite people.

Trucker is kennel and potty trained. He is also dog friendly.

Transporation
Trucker is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
