About Polly

Meet Polly, a delightful Cattle Dog Retriever mix who weighs 38lbs and possesses the heart of a puppy with the sweetest personality. She's spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all preventatives, making her ready for her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves being involved in her people's activities.

Polly is a forever puppy at heart! She absolutely adores toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has a bouncy, happy energy when it's time for fun. She's also been around kids aged 6 and up and has done well with them. We have no history on cats. While Polly enjoys playtime, she's actually a low-energy girl overall and is just as happy to relax and cuddle as she is to play. She's affectionate, snuggly, and loves being close to her people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly once she feels safe.

Ideal Home

Polly will thrive in just about any home, whether it's a family, a couple, or someone looking for a loyal companion.

Ongoing Health

Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and fully up-to-date on all of her preventatives.

Training & Support

Polly is fully house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she is easy to manage. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the rules of home life and will need a patient adopter to guide her. She should be crated when unsupervised as she can sometimes get into things if left loose. With consistency and routine, she will continue to blossom.
