Joey

Joey is a 4-year-old male Doodle looking for a quiet sanctuary to call his own. He is making amazing progress in his foster home and is ready for the next chapter! Joey is a sensitive guy who is highly attached and 100% relaxed with his foster mom. He is, however, still very guarded and nervous around men and fast movements. Once Joey feels safe, his happy-go-lucky, sweet personality really shines. He is a truly loyal companion waiting for the right person to show him the world isn't so scary.

Ideal Home

Joey is looking for a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment without loud or hyper households. He would also do best in a home without young children. A patient adopter, ideally female or a home prepared to let him bond at his own slow pace, who understands that building trust takes time, will be key to Joey's happiness.

Ongoing Health

Joey is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Joey is completely trustworthy, non-destructive, and content to just lay at your feet. He is fully crate trained, has excellent recall, and is great on his daily walks. He thrives on a predictable routine! He is also cat-friendly and doesn't bother the resident cats at all.
