Hi, I’m Chocolate! I was given my name by the kind people at the vet clinic who met me right after I was rescued. Even though I was scared and not feeling my best, they said I had such a gentle and loving personality that the name Chocolate just seemed to fit. My life began with some difficult moments. One very hot day I was tied to a bicycle with a shoestring and was struggling to breathe. Thankfully, a kind woman saw what was happening and quickly stepped in to help me. She untied me and even paid my owner so she could take me somewhere safe. That moment gave me a second chance. At first I was unsure about everything because the only life I had known had suddenly changed. But it didn’t take long for me to discover what it feels like to be truly cared for. Now I live with two wonderful foster moms who treat me like family. I also have a sweet human sister who gives me lots of kisses. I’ve learned how nice it is to sleep in a soft bed, play with toys, and enjoy yummy treats like homemade chicken. I also have foster siblings that I get to run and play with while we all wait for our forever homes. I love to run, play, and spend time with my foster sister Moom. I’m a very affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles, kisses, and being close to my people. I’m fully potty trained and feel safe and comfortable in my crate.
