Rooty

Meet Rooty, a charming and energetic young pup ready to find his forever home! He's a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and Border Collie, bringing the best of both worlds in terms of loyalty and intelligence. Rooty has been lovingly raised in a foster home, where he's had wonderful introductions to adults and children, and has also socialized with other dogs and cats.

Ideal Home

Rooty would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of love, attention, and opportunities for play and mental stimulation. His foster family has made sure he's met many different people and animals, so he's well-adjusted and ready to become part of a family.

Ongoing Health

All puppies at Rescue Ranch receive a thorough wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian when they are at least 8 weeks old. Before going to their new homes, they are dewormed and receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older, they also receive their rabies vaccination. Rooty is microchipped and registered with 911PetChip.

Training & Support

Rooty is a puppy who has had the benefit of early socialization through our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and has attended many events. We have a requirement for spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian, which is covered by the adoption fee.
