Pop

Hi there! I'm Pop! I'm a super happy pup with incredibly soft fur and adorable white markings on my nose. I came to Wags with my brother and sister from New Mexico, and I'm already potty trained and kennel trained, though I do prefer not to be confined. I love to snuggle, especially close to my foster mom at night – she keeps me so warm! I'm a quick learner and know sit, stay, wait, and come, and I'm working on "down" and "off." Food is my obsession, and I'll do anything for a tasty treat, though I'm still practicing my "gentle" treat-taking manners. I've met my foster sister's friends and get along well with other dogs, even acting as an emotional support dog for my younger foster brother. I love playing tug, keep away, and chase, and I also enjoy walks. I'm smart, eager to make friends (though I take a little time to warm up to new people, especially kids), and love to adventure.

Ideal Home

A family with older, dog-savvy children, another dog to be my best friend, and an active lifestyle would be perfect for me. I also must be allowed to sleep in bed with my people!

Training & Support

I'm working on "down" and "off" commands, and I'm also practicing being gentle when taking treats. I can get a little "stranger-danger" with new people, especially kids, and I bark when I meet them, but I mean no harm and calm down quickly to give kisses. A family willing to continue working with me on these quirks is a must!
