About Dr. Pepper (Benefactor Dog)

Meet Dr. Pepper! This lovely 3-year-old, 58 lb Rottweiler is ready for her new beginning. When she first arrived, life hadn't been the kindest, but with good food, medical care, and plenty of love, Dr. Pepper is gaining strength and starting to truly shine. It's been amazing to watch her come back to life! She has a gentle soul and loves to be close to her people, finding comfort in a safe home. Dr. Pepper is friendly with other dogs and cats, making her a potential gem for many households. While she hasn't had much experience with children, she may do well with older kids, as she's still learning not to jump. She does pull strongly on the leash and will need some training to master better walking manners. Dr. Pepper is fully potty-trained and is making progress with crate training. Her food motivation makes learning fun, and she might offer the adorable "Rottie rumble" – a normal, happy sound for the breed! While toys aren't her main interest right now, she enjoys simple pleasures like a cozy couch and a soft blanket, relishing the feeling of safety. She's not a fan of car rides and will need patience, and perhaps medication, for any necessary trips. Due to past food scarcity, she prefers to eat separately and not share her meals with other dogs. Dr. Pepper was recently spayed and is undergoing heartworm treatment, demonstrating incredible resilience. She's ready for a loving home where she can continue to blossom!
