Meet Rex! He's a four-year-old silver-gray pitty or staffy mix with a face that's as soft as velvet and eyes that sparkle with sweetness. His charming tuxedo-like white chest spot adds a touch of dapper to his already handsome looks. While we can only guess at his exact breed mix, we know for sure that Rex is an incredibly special boy with a heart as big as his sturdy frame. He's a big, soft house hippo who truly knows how to relax and go with the flow, always happy and ready for whatever the day brings.
Ideal Home
Rex is a wonderfully versatile companion who would thrive in many different environments. He's apartment-friendly, quiet, gentle, and low-key. He's also fantastic with small children, showing an instinctive gentleness and patience with them. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and would be happy in a home with a medium to low-energy canine companion, or as the sole furry friend, soaking up all the attention. While he hasn't been cat-tested, further testing can be arranged if he seems like a good fit.

Rex is a healthy boy who has been fully vetted, including his vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Rex is a dream when it comes to training! He is fully potty trained and crate trained, making him a breeze to integrate into your home. He walks nicely on his leash and is treat-motivated, always eager to please. His love for toys, especially Kongs and tug-of-war, keeps him happily entertained.

Rex is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This service ensures a safe and comfortable journey with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Please note there is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
