Hi there, I'm Groot! Have you ever dreamed of the perfect adventure buddy? I think that might be me! I recently spent the day exploring the BeltLine with some awesome AHS staff, and they couldn't stop telling me what a good boy I was. I rode like a true gentleman in the car, quietly watching the world go by through the window. Once we hit the trail, I walked beautifully on my leash, even with other dogs, bikes, and rollerbladers passing by. Nothing could distract me from enjoying my adventure! Of course, every great outing deserves a treat, so I made a stop for a puppuccino...actually, make that two! Then we grabbed lunch, and while my people ate, I simply laid down beside them, relaxed and patient. I didn't beg for a single bite, I was just happy to be there in the sun. And yes, I'm housebroken and made sure all my potty breaks happened outside. When I'm not being the perfect gentleman in public, I'm a fun-loving, energetic guy who loves being outside. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things in the world, and if you have a tennis ball, we'll be best friends in no time. I'm smart, eager to learn, and would love an active family that's ready for hikes, walks, backyard games, and plenty of adventures together. I can be a little selective about who I click with. Slow introductions help me feel my best if you have another pet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who can be both an adventure partner and a well-mannered sidekick, I think we'll make an amazing team.
