Jairo

Jairo is a handsome adult male German Shepherd mix with a lot of love to give! He's currently in a foster home, where he's proving to be a wonderful houseguest. While Jairo can be a little shy and hesitant at first, he's warming up each day and enjoying the gentle interactions he receives. He's already mastered house-training and is non-destructive when left alone, which is fantastic! Jairo starts his mornings with playful zoomies and bow-wows, and he really appreciates a good pet.

Ideal Home

Jairo is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can continue his journey of building trust. Someone who can take their time, read his cues, and allow him to connect on his own terms will be key to helping this amazing dog blossom. Due to his timid nature, Jairo would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children who can respect his need for space.

Ongoing Health

Jairo is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jairo is house-trained and non-destructive when left alone. He is still learning to fully trust humans, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will be essential for his continued growth.
