About Nona

Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is currently being fostered in Austin, TX. She's entering her confident, playful older puppy phase and is ready to shine! Nona is a sturdy little tank with a lot of love to give. She enjoys zooming around the yard, playing with toys, and greeting her people with enthusiastic leaps. She's a sweet and affectionate companion who loves to be near her humans and wiggles her whole body when she's excited. Nona is a social butterfly, enjoying strolls downtown and meeting new friends, both human and canine. She's also incredibly clever and motivated by treats and toys, making training a fun adventure. She's mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. Nona is fully crate and potty trained, and she's a gentle watchdog who will alert you to anything unfamiliar. Her adorable underbite only adds to her charming personality.

Ideal Home

Nona would do best in a home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would thrive with a confident canine friend who is respectful of personal space and happy to share the spotlight, but she would also be happy as the only dog.

Ongoing Health

Nona is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.

Training & Support

Nona is fully crate trained and potty trained, but will need a family willing to continue reinforcing her routine. She is working on her leash manners. She can be a bit shy and will sound the alarm if she hears or sees something unfamiliar.
