Aria

Aria is a sweet and playful girl with a big heart! She spent some time at the St. Thomas VI Humane Society before arriving at Pet Search in September. She's a Plott hound mix, around 5 years old and weighs about 47lbs. Aria is ready for her forever home and is looking for a family that can help her continue to grow and learn.

Ideal Home

Aria would love a canine playmate to share her adventures with. She would also thrive in a home that can continue to work on her leash training and impulse control, such as practicing 'sit' and gently discouraging jumping. We recommend a fenced yard or an energetic family that will ensure she gets plenty of walks and playtime. Due to her energetic nature and training needs, homes with young children are not recommended.

Ongoing Health

Aria is spayed, crate-trained, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested, and microchipped. She has been diagnosed with heartworm, but Pet Search will cover the cost of her treatment if she is brought back to us after adoption.

Training & Support

Aria is working on her leash manners and impulse control, and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help her master commands like 'sit' and reduce jumping.

Aria is located in Washington, PA. We are able to transport her to adopters within a 2.5-hour drive of Pittsburgh.
