Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome and athletic boy who is happiest when life is happening! At about 1.5 years old and 57 lbs, Tahoe is a smart, social, and people-loving Shepherd mix who is ready to be your ultimate adventure buddy. He thrives in active environments, whether it's a hike, a backyard hangout, or a training session that engages his sharp mind. Tahoe is a dog who wants to be involved, learn, interact, and connect with his people, making him a wonderfully trainable and adaptable companion.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would love an active home where he can be involved in family adventures. He needs to be in a home without cats, as his interest in them is too high. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be over 25 lbs, as smaller dogs may feel overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is a healthy boy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, microchip, and more.
Training & Support
Tahoe is house and crate trained and responds well to guidance and corrections. While he can get a little enthusiastic during greetings, he is a very workable dog who genuinely wants to understand and please his people. Continued training will be fun and beneficial for him, as he is an intelligent and eager learner. He is social with other dogs and has shown good manners and the ability to learn appropriate play and boundaries.

Tahoe is currently fostered in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real-time.
