Sadie is a delightful 3-year-old Terrier/Border Collie mix who is patiently waiting for her forever family. She recently spent two weeks in a foster home and proved to be the "easy" dog anyone could wish for, showing perfect house manners and a remarkably calm demeanor. Sadie is an independent soul who enjoys keeping her people company from nearby rather than being a constant shadow. She's observant and alert, making her a great companion and watch-dog for her family. Sadie is a dream in her crate at night and a pleasure to walk on a leash. Her food motivation makes her a joy to train!
Ideal Home
Sadie would do best with children ages 5 and up who understand and respect her independent nature. She enjoys the company of other dogs, especially males, and can sometimes like to be the boss. She's looking for a household that appreciates a calm, chill dog who offers loyalty without needing constant physical affection.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is heartworm positive. She is currently on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and will receive a health certificate, exam, and fecal test less than 10 days prior to transport. Adopters should be prepared to start treatment for heartworm, with options for fast or slow kill methods depending on their preference.
Training & Support
Sadie is already a "Crate Queen" and a "Leash Pro." Her food motivation makes training a breeze!

Sadie is currently located in Oklahoma. We have a dedicated transport network to bring her to adopters across the country. Designated city stops include locations in the Pacific Northwest (OR, ID), Northeast (NY, NJ, CT, PA, MD, VA), Midwest (IL, IN, MI, OH, MN, IA), and West/Mountain regions (CO, WY, UT).
