Zac is a handsome 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He's a loyal companion with a perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back cuddles. Zac was rescued from a local shelter and underwent FHO surgery on a back leg, which has healed completely with no further medical needs or medications. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys a good treat. Zac is a social butterfly with other dogs, respecting their space and knowing when playtime is over. He's also calm on walks and doesn't react to other dogs. Indoors, Zac is a relaxed boy who loves to be close to his people, enjoying attention, belly rubs, and sweet conversations, especially if dinner is delayed! He's comfortable meeting new people and has become more confident with car rides. Zac hasn't lived with young children, but his foster believes he'd do well with a family willing to help him learn not to jump up when excited.

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He enjoys toys and treats and has shown no signs of resource guarding. While he's great with other dogs, his foster suggests he would benefit from continued training to help him with not jumping up when excited.
