Calamity Jane 'CJ'

Calamity Jane, or CJ as she's known, is a total snuggle bug! Born in February 2021, CJ is searching for a family ready for fun and lots of love. She adores being with her people and is always right at your feet. CJ enjoys playing with toys and gets along well with other dogs. She was found with a bullet in her spine and requires a wheelchair to get around, but after therapy, she's able to move with confidence and enjoy life to the fullest. She's currently in a foster home with other dogs and, at night, wears a diaper due to being an excited urinator. While she can hold her bladder, her sheer joy upon waking and seeing her humans sometimes leads to an accident before she can get outside. She's spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is a sponsored $75 in memory of Chance, and it includes her wheelchair and harness.

Ideal Home

CJ loves to be with her people and thrives on companionship. She gets along well with other dogs.

CJ is living with a past injury and uses a wheelchair to get around. She is an excited urinator and wears a diaper at night. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

CJ is house-trained, but due to excited urination, a diaper is used at night.

Transporation

CJ is located in Toledo, OH, and can be transported within 45 minutes of LCPC. Home visits are completed prior to all adoptions.
