Chip

As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing about 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people and will be your shadow everywhere you go. When he first meets new people, Chip can be a bit cautious, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever! Chip adores his foster family, loves to go on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves to be outdoors! He's also the king of costumes and can rock any outfit. Chip has done well with his foster dog siblings, who are calm and enjoy his play style. He LOVES to play and would do best with more calm/submissive doggy siblings that would be happy to engage with him. He would also do well as an only dog if he could go on outings every so often. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats.

Ideal Home

Chip's ideal humans would enjoy having him be their right-hand man and understand that he can be anxious when left home alone. He would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training and would love to work with you! He has also done well around older children. Chip would prefer a home without cats.

Chip has been working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left home alone. He would love to work with you on his training.
