Meet Sawyer, a sweet, gentle hound with a quiet soul who's searching for a patient family willing to let him blossom at his own pace. While he can be shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, underneath that nervous exterior is an incredibly loving dog just waiting to trust someone. Once Sawyer feels safe, his sweet personality begins to shine. He enjoys exploring with his nose, relaxing in the yard, and simply being near the people he trusts. Every small milestone is a huge victory for this special boy!

Ideal Home

Sawyer would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. A securely fenced yard is ideal, or an adopter committed to leash walking and supervised outdoor time. A quieter home environment will help him continue building confidence. Another friendly, confident dog would be a wonderful role model for him, though it's not a strict requirement.

Ongoing Health

Sawyer has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. He is currently on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Sawyer is not yet house-trained and will need continued guidance and patience in this area.
