Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's the biggest pup in his litter but also the most introverted, preferring to observe before joining the fun. He loves dinnertime, belly rubs, scratches, and snuggling. Bullseye is gentle, thoughtful, and possesses a calm presence that makes him an instant favorite. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings and has been raised with his mother. He has done well around children but has not been tested with cats. Bullseye is crate-trained and is gaining confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. He is potty trained, though a few accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new home and routine.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide consistent positive reinforcement, build his confidence, and help him continue to mature. We prefer homes with another friendly, well-mannered resident dog to help mentor him. If a home does not have another dog, we would like to hear your plan for continued socialization. Homes where someone isn't routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are preferred, as Bullseye will benefit from regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training, and human interaction.

Bullseye is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained but may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new environment. He is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice will help him thrive. Continued socialization is important for building his lifelong confidence.

Transporation
Bullseye is currently located in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to an approved adopter. Transport runs every few weeks.
