Maximillion

Mr. Maximillion is a handsome, nearly 6-year-old gentleman who is young at heart and full of love to give! He's a resilient and loyal boy who has been through a lot but remains incredibly sweet and eager to please. Maximillion enjoys a good hike or a game of fetch, but he's also a big fan of long naps and snuggling up with his favorite people. He loves car rides and has a funny habit of trying to squeeze into laps, living by the motto "If I fits, I sits."

Maximillion is brilliant and eager to learn, with a trainer having already helped polish his leash manners and home settling skills. He is food-motivated and proves that old dogs can indeed learn new tricks! His past includes being rescued from a high-kill shelter, being treated for heartworm, neutered, and fully vetted.

Ideal Home

Maximillion would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and explore safely. He would do best with older children, as he sometimes forgets his own size. More than anything, he wants to be with his people, whether that's on an adventure or simply relaxing at home.

Ongoing Health

Maximillion has been treated for heartworm and is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Maximillion has received training for leash manners and home settling. He is eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially with food motivation.
