Mars

Mars is a 2-year-old, 45-50 lb male Labrador mix with a heart of gold. He was found abandoned near a gas station and has since been learning to trust and love again with the help of a local dog trainer. Mars is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and is great with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good romp. With consistent guidance, he could also adapt to a home with cats. His amazing recall makes him a prime candidate for an active family, and he would do best with older children who won't be accidentally bowled over by his enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Mars would do well in a home with older children. He could potentially live with cats with structure and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is heartworm positive and has started the slow kill treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the continued treatment. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mars is learning to be a dog again and is boarding with a dog trainer. He has excellent recall.
