Samuel knows "sit," walks well on leash, and appears to be potty trained. He got along well with a Golden Retriever and had a gentle interaction with a nervous Flat-Coated Retriever during his evaluation, showing his balanced demeanor. Unfortunately, Samuel is experiencing significant mobility issues, likely due to osteoarthritis in his hips and now showing lameness in his front legs. He urgently needs a veterinary workup and potential lifelong medical management that the shelter cannot provide. He deserves a comfortable and stable home to live out his senior years with dignity.
