About Mila

Meet Mila! This lovely 3-year-old, approximately 40lb Pitbull/Staffie mix is full of curiosity and affection. Mila is a smart, young, and very teachable girl who loves to explore. She's people-oriented, follows her foster mom everywhere, and is always excited to greet new friends with cuddles and kisses. Mila is a bit of a foodie, so while she hasn't shown any aggression, feeding her separately is recommended to ensure household harmony. She hasn't been crate trained as she has always had access to a doggy door and someone home, but she has proven trustworthy when left unsupervised, as long as tempting food is out of reach and trash cans are secured.

Ideal Home

Mila would thrive in a moderately to very active home with older, dog-savvy children (10+ years) and at least one other dog, as she enjoys playing with canine companions. A family looking for an outdoorsy companion or running partner would be a perfect match. She would likely do best in a home where someone is present more often than not.

Ongoing Health

Mila is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. No specific health conditions were mentioned in her listing.

Training & Support

Mila is very teachable and eager to learn. She enjoys playtime with other dogs but can sometimes jump on them, so continued guidance on appropriate play will be beneficial. Ensuring she has a secure place for food and trash will help her continue to be trustworthy when left alone. Patience and reassurance will help her adjust and become the best girl.
