She adores her people and is happiest when she's curled up on the couch or following you from room to room. Hershey bonds deeply with her humans and thrives in a home where she can be part of the family's daily life.

Hershey is looking for a stable, loving home where she can continue to thrive and feel safe. She has had a positive experience with children, including a gentle 9-year-old boy, and would be a great match for a home with respectful kids. While she has made progress with other dogs, her bouncy play style might be best suited for a home where she is the only pet, or with a calm, tolerant dog who won't mind her enthusiastic approach. Given no history with cats, a cat-free home or slow, supervised introductions would be best. A calm, secure environment is important for her during loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms.

Hershey is fully housebroken and does well in her crate. She is great on a leash and walks calmly, enjoying exploring the neighborhood. She can be a little vocal when someone is at the door.
