Don't let her tiny size fool you. Cookie has a big personality tucked into a little Chihuahua mix body. At around one year old, this sweet girl will steal your heart with her adorable underbite and soulful eyes. Cookie is looking for a very special home. She can be anxious in new situations and needs a calm, predictable environment where she can feel safe. She's not the kind of dog who will instantly trust everyone she meets, but if you're willing to be patient and let her move at her own pace, you'll earn the loyalty and love of an incredible little companion. The best things in life are worth waiting for, and Cookie is no exception. If you're looking for a tiny best friend and have the patience to let love grow on her terms, Cookie just might be the missing piece of your family. Ideal Home
Cookie needs a quiet, stable home with someone who understands tiny dogs and respects their boundaries. Because of her size (only 7 lbs!) and anxiety, Cookie is not a good fit for a home with children. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs up to 15lbs and doing well.
Ongoing Health
All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
Training & Support
Slow introductions, gentle handling, and consistency will help this little girl blossom.

Transporation
This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. If you want the dog transported to New Orleans or Pensacola, transport is available.
