Brunson - The Big Hearted

Meet Brunson! This 2-year-old, 25-pound charmer is proof that some dogs are born with hearts too big for the world they've been given. Brunson was found abandoned in Puerto Rico, where he bravely tried to survive on his own for over a month. Despite facing some tough encounters with other dogs, his naturally friendly spirit never wavered, and he continued to approach others with hope. When rescuers finally reached him, they found a dog still eager for affection and ready to trust.

Today, Brunson is thriving in foster care and has blossomed into the sweetest companion imaginable. He's incredibly affectionate and happiest when curled up with his people. He's a laid-back boy who prefers cozy couch cuddles to mischief. Brunson loves everyone he meets and gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. His foster describes him as a dog who simply wants to love and be loved.
