Lady

Lady is a sweet 5-year-old, approximately 50-pound mixed breed who came to us as an owner surrender. She was unfortunately on the at-risk list at the municipal shelter but was thankfully saved by a wonderful person. Lady is a total lovebug who thrives on attention and wants to be by your side 24/7. She has a unique way of asking for pets, gently nudging you with her slightly jutting lower jaw. When she's excited to go out, she does a happy little spin and always seems eager to get back home.

Ideal Home

Lady needs a home where she can be your one and only furry companion. She would do well in a household with older children, or with a retired couple or individual who can shower her with the constant attention she craves.

Ongoing Health

Lady is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lady has separation anxiety and needs to be crated when left alone, even for short periods. She has a history of scratching walls and having accidents when left unattended. She does not do well with other animals and has fixated on and snapped at dogs, so she must be kept separate from other pets. While she occasionally whines in her crate when there's noise, she settles down. She readily goes into her crate and prefers to eat inside with the door open or closed. There have been no reports of nipping or crate aggression.
